Who we are...

We are a family of 4 who, after 6 years of growing increasingly deeper roots in southern Maine, jumped at the opportunity to move to Delhi, India and work at an international school. Amie and Ted have known each other for 10 years. Lucy is our oldest who is 3, and Scout is our recent addition who was born in Delhi last March. Our move to India has fulfilled our growing desire to push back against the tempting forces of suburbia and immerse ourselves, and our children, in a new culture. It has also helped get us one step closer to realizing our shared dream of living aboard a sailboat as a family. We have just purchased a 1976 Valiant 40, Momo, who we hope to step aboard full time in 2014. Until then, we will spend 10 months a year living in Delhi and dreaming of the sea, and 2 months a year sailing as much as we can back home in New England.
